What is Adventure Photography?
CoCo is not a traditional personal photography team. We don’t do studio lighting or prepared sets. In fact, we rarely shoot indoors (some adventures do happen indoors though, like culinary ones or when the little ones are leading).
We found our niche and defined it as “adventure photography” because of our focus on the experience rather than curating poses or scenes. Similar to documentarian-style photo shoots, we’ll allow life to happen and try to minimize the impact of the camera. We’re just a fly on the wall, watching you do what you love to do and sharing life’s beauty from our perspective.
How do popups fit into our adventure offering? The difference is all about cost and making these opportunities available to everyone — not just the people who can afford to book extended shoots. So to bring down cost, we choose a place we love and has been host to adventures in our past. Then we open up time slots and split our costs across the group of people who want to join that adventure!
